Omg I can’t believe I’m about to open up to an anon and all of tumblr! Coming out to your parents is the hardest part I think. So good luck, my friend.

But yeah, I didn’t really have an elaborate plan, and my memory is a little bit hazy, but I remember I told them at the same time. I’m pretty sure they were the last people I came out to, also…. My brother was away for some reason and the 3 of us went out for dinner. I brought up to them that I had a new romantic interest in my life, to which they were excited and surprised. Then I told them that my interest was a male.

Immediate relief. From me, my mom, and my dad. They told me they knew that I was gay ever since I was about 3 or 4 and proceeded to tell me about how when I was little I wanted to be a hairdresser and my favorite color was pink and I played with barbie dolls. I’m glad I grew out of all that but.. yeah. lol. That’s how I came out to my parents.

I came out to all my friends by telling them a guy sucked my dick XD It was during the summer and so I had to come out to all my Harrisburg friends each individually. Coming out to my Pittsburgh friends was a little different though haha all I had to do was tell my 1 friend that I was gay and he spread the word just as I had planned :P

Overall if you have a good friends group and a supportive family, coming out will be the best decision of your life. Good luck again!
